Tailgating before the Hawkeye game 10/21/2012

I joined Jeff and Sarah while they were tailgating at the Iowa vs Nebraska game. It was so great spending time with them. It's been way too long since I last saw them-and there was so much to catch up on.

I got to see her for the first time on Sunday Oct. 7 while we were on the way back from the Schuettes.  Michael was even able to get off work early to come out to see her.  Such a tiny little girl.  She looks like an exact replica of the baby dolls that Melissa and Shell had when they were growing up.  And about the same size too!  Shell and Tony were exhausted but doing well.  I think this Arnold-Kluesner baby will look more "Kluesner" than "Arnold".  As opposed to Cali who looks far more "Arnold" than "Kluesner".  :-)

2012 Schuette Visit

Since Becky and Darin Schuette live up by Green Bay, Mom, Dad and I got to stay with them while we were up there for Melinda's wedding.  We didn't get to see them very much on Saturday, but fortunately Becky and I got to spend some time together Saturday night and I got to spend time with the girls on Saturday morning.  Had a great time reading 8 books to them.  :-)

Melinda gets Married!

October 6, 2012 - Melinda Hinderman's wedding outside of Green Bay, WI.
The youngest Hinderman just got married!  She was 8 when we we met her.  And now she's in her late twentys and getting married.  I can't believe that we have known Hindermans for over 10 years.   With the families growing up and moving farther away, weddings are about the only time to get "family" pictures. Unfortunately Michael was missing due to work, Ann and Cali were missing because Green Bay is a long way to go when Ann is 8 months pregnant, and Shell and Tony were missing because Johanna was born two days prior.  But this will still be a cherished picture.
