Ellen gave us some tomato powder from Alspice store (it's like a Penzey's) for Christmas gift. I'm trying my hand at baked goods other than sweet breads and cookies, so I was determined to use the powder to make an edible loaf of bread. I have such troubles getting yeast to proof and have tried and failed many times to make bread. Today was a good day to try making the bread due to all the sleet and ice today. This time I did it! I made a loaf of tomato cheese bread. AND it is edible. :-)
